Fantastic Date on Friday/Kaela is the Best :)

Well, from the title, I hope you inferred that I went on a date with Kaela on Friday! :P It was absolutely fantastic, and we all had a lot of fun! :)

(Hopefully I will get the pictures soon so I can post some of them here! :D)

Anyway, we started off the night by going ice skating which was absolutely fantastic, cuz I got really good at it. Me and Kaela pretty much dominated the ice, and I think we won in tag.... :)

After ice skating, we all went to Whitney's house where we made chocolate-chip pancakes (tasted amazing!), and had a party. It got pretty crazy, and it was so much fun, trust me when I say that :).

Then we proceeded to play Mafia which is pretty self-explanatory to say that it was awesome! Christian and Caleb were a riot, and it was the best. The End.

Well, sorta the end, we need to do another date with that group :P

Thanks for taking me Kaela!! You are fantastic! :)

MATC and Other Stuff that Goes Ding... ;)

For those of you that have never watched Doctor Who, the only part of this title you need to think about is 'MATC'. I included the other part for Doctor Who fans, just for laughs.

But yeah, this post is mainly about MATC.

Now you are thinking:

"MATC? What is that?"

Well, MATC stands for Mountainland Applied Technology College.

By this point, you are wondering why Matt is talking about it so much, and I am getting to that...

I registered at MATC to certify as a welder!! *Applause Here* Yup, in case you guys didn't know, I am taking a Vocational metals class with Bill at Timpview, and I have really enjoyed it. I love the hands on work, and so when a chance to register for MATC came up, I grabbed it!

Like literally, I grabbed it. I was the last one to register for the course, and I didn't even know I was going to register that morning when I woke up. It just sort of happened really quickly.

So that is pretty cool. I will be going to High School in the mornings, and at 6:00 in the evening I will be going to weld until 9:00 in the evening. The days I weld will be Monday-Thursday, 6-9. I will still be able to have a life on Friday and Saturday, so that made me happy, but ultimately, I will be very busy.

That is about it for now, but I wanted to include some pictures of welding for you guys to see what I will be doing.

That is just some of the awesome stuff that I will do in welding. Luckily, the course I have signed up for will end somewhere around the end of High School as well.

That means I can get a job right out of high school to help put me through college. I will probably work full time in the summer before going to college in the fall. I am trying to get my degree in Public Relations when I attend college.

Thanks for reading this whole thing guys! I just thought I should update on my life! :) Love you all!! Have a great day!!

Good Luck Shane! :D

Well, it has been forever since I last wrote, and I thought today would be a great day to do it! :)

Earlier today, I went to Shane McQuarrie's mission farewell, to listen to his talk he gave (which was fantastic by the way!), and it made me start thinking about my life. . .

I have about a semester left of High School, and then it is off to college to who knows where. I can fit in two semesters of college if I want to, and before I know it I will get my mission call and have my farewell (which you all better come to :P).

Having all this jump up onto you during Sacrament meeting can be quite a bit for a guy. Anyway, it will be about a little over a year I think before I will be heading into the MTC, going who knows where. :)

It is really exciting to think about actually.

But yeah, this is where there are a lot of critical changes in my life happen, and I just wanted to let you guys know that you have all helped contribute to the kind of person I am today, and I love you guys for it!! Thanks so much for helping me progress towards a mission, and a happy life! I love you all!

And good luck Shane! He will be serving in Chicago, Illinois while speaking Spanish, ans that is really exciting! Have a great day everyone! :)
